There are plenty of non idol actors who are wooden as well in k ent. So I think being wooden is more part of their ent world than anything else. It’s because they cast based on looks and not talent.

So good for awards not to have fan voting as a dominant factor.
yes Junho really deserves it. I looked forward to watching every Friday and Saturdays. I have seen the story of crown prince Sado's life in the amazing performance by Song Kang Ho and Yoo Ah In in the film The Throne, so it was great to see the life of Sado's son Yi san played by Junho in The Red Sleeve. In fact, this win was surprising for me because I was expecting Lee Jung Jae to win for Squid Game or Kim Nam Gil for Through the Darkness. All of them had amazing performances.
It is crazy how Junho is getting more popular these days and now he is the most popular 2PM member. If you told me this would happen in the early 2010s i wouldn't believe you. I would like to see Junho and Se Young play in a modern romance Kdrama.

Just for fun, as a company stan, I'm going to point out the fact that Junho is an idol-turned-actor whose solo career has been solely managed by JYP Entertainment. You know, the company that some claim don't know how to manage their idols' solo careers. Junho has renewed his contract twice with JYP Entertainment since his debut in 2009, he is still both an active idol as a member of 2PM and a rising star in the acting circle.
He also has over 100 song composition credits to his name registered with the KOMCA, as expected of an artist under JYP Entertainment (which strongly encourages songwriting by their idols, especially the male ones). And as a solo music artist under JYP Entertainment he has released two Korean studio albums, two Japanese albums, one Korean EP and seven Japanese EPs, in addition to winning numerous Best Actor awards for his dramas, that culminated in this Baeksang Arts Award.
