LE SSERAFIM has one of the worst physical albums

  • I literally would internally cry opening the album

It's literally a cereal box packaging

Opening the album and then never being able to close it again :pepe-slash:

You would need to buy at least 2 albums

1 to open and 1 to never do it

    Rip collectors

  • WHAT why would a kpop company that knows albums are valued for their packaging, make an album you have to rip up???!!!

I feel like a lot of things about this debut have been very cheap looking which is strange cause I thought hybe labels were supposed to be loaded....? I get you don't want to sink a bunch of money on rookies, but you gotta invest money to make money too

  • Where is the rest of the video? I want to see the whole package and inside first before assuming it’s cheap.

It reminds me of the shitty box they did with Nu'est last year.

  • HYBE distributor YG Plus, recently was bragging about how they were making their albums more environment friendly, maybe it's because of that? Especially with the recent controversies regarding people taking the photocards and dumping the albums

  • This looks like cheap chocolate pralline box, you know the one that are always on the shelf with half price promotion but no one is buying them lol

Are all things inside that box loosen tho? Or is there a photobook? That's what I want to know.

  • Bro even the design looks meh. Compare all those things, poor album design, poor album materials, and the song being ok (but nothing special).

This whole debut feels like a money grab lmao.

I don't think it's about eco friendly since they packaged the photocards in envelopes I think it's supposed to look like an invitation or card similar to the ones you see celebrities post items from fashion labels.

  • lmao if want to hybe make their own eco friendly album then, what has this to do with yg? :pepe-shrug:

Did you get offended or something? I wasn't attacking YG. There is nothing wrong with being environment friendly, all companies should strive to help the earth, especially companies like HYBE which have tons of physical albums being brought for their photocards and then dumped

The fact that you have to rip it to open it upsets me. Imagine wanting to display it or sell it. No one would want a ripped open album and I can imagine it not looking that good wanting to display it.

first you were directing blame to yg when the yg groups album had no problem, and when the ones who made the album was hybe, then u were criticising yg for not making eco friendly album for hybe when hybe has all the resources to do on their own and when in fact yg has nothing to do with hybe albums they are just mere distributors, your agenda really shows tho

  • isn't the photobook what people care about anyway? things like this are clearly because of the bulk buying concerns. people literally chuck or "donate" albums. something like this packaging can at least be recycled while the album goodies can be kept. also tearing the back of it still keeps the front and shape intact so you can literally still put it on a shelf and display it if you want to.

i don't see how this is any different than the literal plastic bag packaging other groups like stayc have been doing. enough with the dramatics!

lesserafim's company is source music and they owe hybe a LOT of money for their last few stints with gfriend. money doesn't just grow on trees and any investment hybe makes in source has to be payed back ten fold. some of y'all are very naïve to business to say stuff like this. hybe involvement or not, lesserafim clearly had the budget of a midtier company, which is what source was with gfriend who they are now without.
