It’s because western media can’t be bothered to do any research at all when it comes to international acts so they ask the most insipid questions.

Unfortunately BTS’ name will be dragged into interviews simply because they’re the most relevant kpop group in the west. Also the west doesn’t care for the whole don’t mention other groups in interviews thing that happens in Korea.

Like in Korea it would be weird for NCT to be asked about BTS yet not weird if they were asked about Justin Bieber? Mehh….
