Would you get on a long distance relationship?

i would avoid at all costs but would only if absolutely necessary.

i consider long distance to be a state away

no i doubt so, im way too sensitive and i'll definitely over-think if im in a ldr, and if we cant meet regularly....ldr to me is basically in a different country as me

I'm in a long distance relationship right now. We live about four hours (driving) away.

It's definitely hard, and it requires a lot of communication, trust and respect to the other persons boundaries and needs.

if we started dating before moving to a long-distance relationship i can do it. Like if my partner gets a better job that is far away I won't break up because of that.

I don't think i would engage in a relationship that starts out as long distance.

I have had three long distance relationships, two in Melbourne and one in Sydney. I even took on a job to be with the one in Sydney and we broke up the weekend I got there. I wouldn't recommend them, they're hard work and take commitment.

Nah I value in-person interaction very strongly. I used to be fine with ldrs when I was younger. I never had one but had friends from other states and countries I would have wanted to date. When I got older I realized you can meet someone online and have 0 chemistry in person. That and I need physical affection. Meeting online is fine. I just needed to meet in person like a week after meeting.

Plus my bf is 40 minutes away and even that feels far lol
