From my limited understanding,

There is no border, no*. Expansion refers to the relative distance between objects within the system, not necessarily the entire system itself.

Imagine if the universe is infinite in every direction. Matter, galaxies, they just go on forever. Because spacetime itself is expanding, they get further apart. Since this vision of the universe is infinite, it doesn't need to expand out into anything for the elements inside to get further apart from each other.

*That we know of. If our three spacial dimensions are actually downward protections of higher special dimensions, then it's conceivable that the universe wraps around itself from our perspective. So if you keep going in one direction you might end up where you started.

I recommend reading Hawkins brief history of time.

Imagine the universe is a Ballon and galaxies are dots on the surface of the Ballon. As Ballon expands the distance between those dots also increases.

This expanding quality of universe is a very fascinating problem, unfortunately we are more able to observe its consequences on our universe versus actually investigating what is causing it.

Some believe in a cyclic universe that at some point universe will stop expanding and it will contract back to bigbang point. Then it will start all over again.

There is so much we still don't know about our universe, James Web Telescope is gonna provide with a whole new architecture of information which I believe might change what we know about universe.

Another crazy thing. Thjey said our universe has billions of planets ? How the heck would they even know that if all they ever did is landing the moon.

We can observe the stars easier than planets. we know each star system has a few planets. If we have a billion of stars, we have more planets than that.

The universe is already big, why would it need to expand anymore? It would if there were more stuff correct?

what by "more stuff", its the replicas of galaxies and galaxies??
