Imagine the universe is a Ballon and galaxies are dots on the surface of the Ballon. As Ballon expands the distance between those dots also increases.

This expanding quality of universe is a very fascinating problem, unfortunately we are more able to observe its consequences on our universe versus actually investigating what is causing it.

Some believe in a cyclic universe that at some point universe will stop expanding and it will contract back to bigbang point. Then it will start all over again.

There is so much we still don't know about our universe, James Web Telescope is gonna provide with a whole new architecture of information which I believe might change what we know about universe.

Is there any belief or theory about the universe has or has not boundry of any form?

Have yet read that Steven Hawkins book.

I get it boils down to how the picture of distance between planets/ galaxies have been increasing from observation on earth is addressed.

If the universe has no "boundry" , there would not be expansion of universe.

Or do they project the universe has a boundry by things are moving further apart from each other in it?
