RE: Are people over exaggerating the Grammys performance

I think it was the best they could have done with butter (which have relatively easy choreography as compared to bts,s other hype tracks)

Not their all time best because they have much better stages in korea but definitely their 2nd best in American shows (1st is still black swan on james corden)

There are different questions in the op.

Is the main question-

Are people/ARMYs over exaggerating how much praise the performance is getting?

Or

Are ARMYs exaggerating the performance being good itself?

For the first, fans do it kind of often so I see where this is coming from. But having seen some reviews from pop reactors who usually don't go out of their way to chase clout I would say that they are being praised by a lot of people for their performance. I was genuinely surprised by the amount of good buzz they have been able to generate from their appearance.

For the second point, well I haven't watched the other grammy performances so I'm Judging it only by their standards. It was good but I don't think this was their best performance. They looked less engaged than what usually do. But considering the situation I think they did very well and I loved all the dance breaks and little moments they added to the performance.

It was phenomenal, period

I think they did incredible with what they had to work with. One of the best performances I've seen in a long time.

Imo they did the best they could possibly do, so yeah a stellar performance
