CPI was reported today and prices are at 10 year highs and inflation is high in Korea. That's why certain segments of the market are down on the KOSDAQ.
Businesses that would depend on consumer's disposable income would suffer with inflation as consumers focus on basic needs like food, etc.
It's never a good idea to look at a snapshot of a trading day and make assumptions like this thread. There are other forces. A music artist coming back on a particular day has no bearing on it (especially on other entertainment companies). Trends over time do.
Investment experts are bullish as a whole on entertainment stocks as offline concerts are coming back...especially YG, as some investment firms have chosen YG as the entertainment stock with the biggest upside this year...BIGBANG, BLACKPINK and TREASURE sales and Touring cited as the reason.
