I love that Tae and Yoongi are able to connect with people so easily even though neither speaks much English. They just pick up friends wherever they go and there's no such thing as a language barrier.

It's really cool to see how confident BTS are now when they're at these events. They may have moments of doubt because of how racist the industry can be but I think overall they know they belong, they know they're good enough, and they know they've got every right to be there. Most of their peers in the US music industry seem to agree.

I appreciate this a lot, and while I know many fans look at these western awards shows for the awards themselves, I've always thought it would be a great way for BTS to meet artists and create the relationships to fuel future collabs and just broaden their musical horizons.
