I find Hyejeong very pretty, personally

In terms of picking her over Seolhyun, I think it might be related to how Seolhyun was pretty young when they debuted, and she wasn’t as striking as she is now. She wasn’t known for her visuals back in their debut days (I was around, I remember), that was something she gained with time. She was known more for being an actress, I believe.

I think Seolhyun was only age 17 at their debut. She also didn't get that many lines in their earlier years so maybe that's why they chose Hyejeong instead!
