What are your thoughts on polyamory? Is it LGBTQ+? Is it cheating?

I'm not sure if it's lgbt but I don't consider it cheating.

Polyamory is about communication and consent... which is the antithesis of cheating. It's not for everyone, but if the people in the poly relationship are cool with it and aware, who are we to judge? It's not inherently harmful and it's their own personal lives and business.

This is actually a really good way to look at it. I never thought of it like that. Growing up, I was told it was kind of like "consentual cheating", but I now realize that's a bit of an oxymoron.

As long as everyone involved is happy and no one feels unloved or neglected because of it, I suppose it's fine. I don't wholeheartedly understand it, but I can still support it. Like, I get it on paper, but since I don't feel that way myself, I don't really GET IT get it if that makes sense. Have a great day/night!

but to me, its an absolute no-go

I take a long time to really bond with someone and trust is the absolute stronghold of a relationship ( any kind ) for me

In my past relationship I have given my ex 100% of my trust ( and it wasnt broken ) so I could never be with a polyamorous person

Polyamory is foul and nasty, sorry not sorry. What happens if you want to break up? do you just vote one person out of the relationship? It doesn't make SENSE. It doesn't matter if your gay or straight, I find polyamory to be NASTY! technically speaking, it's NOT cheating as long as you all are together, but it's just FUNKY and WEIRD.

Thank you for saying this. I know I'm not poly, but I kind of felt this way too. Normally I find Elle funny (At least sometimes, she sadly crosses a few lines once in a while), but I don't think it was the time or place for joking unfortunately.
