Why did "Next level " became a national hit and NMixx oo aka"next level walmart version " flopped ?

nmixx oo was a shit song

next level wasnt the best song out there ( imo pls dont attack ) but its an already proven popular song's remake so chances of failure were much low

+ the fashion/aesthetic of aespa just aligns with what's popular in kr right now and that really helps

its been that way forever in kpop

Honestly O.O is one of the worst kpop songs ever released. There's nothing good on it while Next Level actually is addictive af and even if u go wtf at first the song is too addictive and catchy that u keeps replaying it
