Worry and prepare for the worst. Who is the right mind would renew their contract if they are not making music?

I remember when there was this kpop group, I used to stan that was nugu.

They had a comeback in 2020.

And then in 2021, they had not had a comeback that year.

Then they were like "We are going to have a comeback soon."

And I got kind of excited for that.

But then I found out that the comeback was actually their last one before they disbanded. (or at least left the company)

if stray kids went into a hiatus without any notice for a full year right before contract renewals I would die of a heart attack.

i'd assume the worst tbh. like let's say twice just went on hiatus for the rest of the year and had minimal content, i would assume they were disbanding.

i feel like for most groups if they were on hiatus for a long time and their contract renewals were coming up, i'd assume they were over even if it was unofficially. if it was a group like blackpink i don't really know because they've always had hiatuses so it could mean pretty much anything

i'd would be very scared if it was twice, its VERY weird if the girls arent giving content. i'd assume the worst.
