I assume they're going to use the daily chart provided by kworb? I could never find how they get their numbers.
Doesnt kworb just scrape the youtube for viewer/stream count, so basically unfiltered? I doubt they would add a non official third party website as a source tho. So i would think that either they made a deal with youtube for daily data or they are just using their weekly chart, which is just dumb if so.
it will be an advantage for idol groups but basically kill the chance for a pak for any non idol artist in korea.

They have a daily country chart that seems to align quite well with the weekly country chart. I've no idea how they do it since I can't find where YouTube provides daily country views.

not really idol group, just girlgroup and soloist
the top 31 is full of just Girlgroup and soloist
and the BG at #31 is bts
to see any other bg chart you have to go to #87 and it's darari by treasure
but GG will have a very big push considering how alcohol free is still#66 there

yes, but still need korean phone number etc for the biggest services. But there are people who rent out valid melon accounts one can use. Its not exactly widespread tho.
Afaik for youtube all that is needed is an vpn, i suspect that if youtube starts being included in gaons calculations there will be an uptick in korean users suddenly..

I've seen that for Melon, for Flo too (with passes sort of like genie apparently) so yeah it looks as manipulable as the other platforms for motivated ifans but for now I haven't seen people try
We'll see how it goes with its implementation!
