maaaan I hated this song so much once it dropped, i never really understood it at first because it was all over the place, it wasn't a cohesive song, and the lyrics were kinda odd. I would rather chug a can of sea urchins than to listen to this song ever again. This was an earbleeder. I had a whole twitter rant about how this song sucked and saw it as a desperate attempt by JYP to match its contemporary, SM with the two beats in one song gimmick a la Next Level but one that was bound to flop unlike the latter.
but after a week from abstaining from it because of how disgusting the song was, I was kind having one of those morbid moods where i just want something weird to happen to me or y'know those type of random days. so decided to blast this song in my eardrums and give it another shot.
...well...what'd you know, this song actually rocks on the next listens and now I find myself "watch me baila baila baila watch me how nice how nice"-ing around the house. I kinda get the hate and displeasure of it, I was on that road too but something just abruptly pushed me to open my ears sonically and refrained myself from being over-the-top dismissive. The girls are talented in my opinion I genuinely think that they are a well balanced group from vocals to dance, it just kinds hurts for them to debut with this type of song that was sure to gain negative reception from the majority. I hope their comeback's more gp friendly.
