[Spoilers] Let's talk about this scene in The Batman

The Riddler is batshit crazy....

Obviously, my favorite scene in this movie.

It's so well acted. Paul Dano with his over the top mannerisms and Robert Pattinson with his restrained expressions and he acts just with his eyes...

I wish it was way longer...

You know what,

When Bats says "You're a nobody, psychopath blah blah blah" after The Riddler says Bats was his inspiration....

He experiences a complete manic breakdown and goes on rampage, screaming and yelling...

Until he realizes that Bats didn't figure out his plan and then quickly gains composure and you see a shift in power dynamic here....now Bats yells "What have you done" and The Riddler mocks him by singing "Ave Maria"....

So good.

Because He thought Bats was his friend and was helping him flush out the corrupt officials in Gotham... Until he heard him say that Riddler is a psychopath and a nobody...

Hearing that sentence from your "inspiration" will make any one go mad and The Riddler had a rough childhood and it really brought that out here... He is INSANE. This is a meltdown but also he doesn't lose the flow of conversation and realizes quickly that Bats hasn't figured out EVERYTHING.

He already arranged the bombing to be the exact time Batman came to see him but the problem was that Bats didn't solve the last puzzle yet. So, He also got frustrated by that and says "Oh, you're really not as smart as I thought you were"
