Where do you think x1 would land up in 4th gen boygroup ranking if they continued with their contract?

Conspiracy theory time
I just find it very interesting that just as X1 was blowing up in terms of popularity, they were cut down in their prime and eviscerated by the rigging scandal. Which just happened to leave a nice big hole for other rival 4th gen and even late 3rd gen BGs to fill.
Just seems a bit suspicious to me.

I wonder if there was some internal sabotage too. Like some company thinking they could make more profit without the existence of x1 from the members???? Now i don't think that worked out....

didn't people find out about their rigging because the numbers were weird? I think mnet was just being stupid
-
Yep i thought about that too. Could even be disgruntled labels whose idols were eliminated.
But whatever the case, someone said something to someone important to get the investigation started. I wonder who and what exactly went down...

But didnt this end up to be a criminal investigation? If people went to jail, someone must have told the police/prosecutor to start investigating Msnake. That's what i'm wondering. Who was the one that tipped them off? I cant imagine the police starting an investigation of a huge company like CJENM just from anonymous internet posts by Knetizens.

Rigged, you can research it
"Earlier this week, the Seoul District Court released the names of trainees whose votes were unfairly manipulated by Mnet during the 'Produce' series. In season 2, it was exposed that Baekho's votes were manipulated during the final voting round so that he was eliminated from the top 11 lineup"
"Pledis Entertainment has spoken up about NU’EST’s Baekho being revealed as one of the contestants who was eliminated on “Produce 101 Season 2” due to voting manipuation.
On November 18, at the trial of appeals was held for the producers of the “Produce 101” series who were charged with manipulating viewer votes. The court revealed the list of contestants who were eliminated due to manipulation, and Baekho’s name was included.
A source from Pledis Entertainment stated to Newsen, “We are glad that it was clearly revealed that Baekho was a victim, though it is late. We will keep an eye on the action that will be taken from now on.”
The agency denied rumors of Baekho voluntarily stepping down, which was sparked by the fact that CP (chief producer) Kim Yong Bum had stated in his first trial that there had been a trainee in the second season who did not wish to be in the debut lineup and was subsequently eliminated.
Earlier this day, Mnet said in an official statement that they would compensate the contestants who were negatively affected by the manipulation. Pledis Entertainment shared that they had not yet been contacted by CJ ENM about compensation."

This i disagree with. X1 would be much below w1 in Korea in stats and status.
they would've easily been the 2nd biggest bg in Korea.
Oh yeah i agree especially in the current climate of bgs
-
Thank you X1 then
-
ohh they're that big? haven't heard of them before the scandal tho

If I remember right......didn't this whole thing start because disgruntled fans of trainees who didn't make the cut saw the fudged up voting numbers and hired lawyers? And the whole thing blew up so CJ themselves called for a police investigation into Mnet?
