It's not that they should stick with having one bg, but Stray Kids aren't even 3 years old yet and the project is supposed to begin in the same month as SKZ's first comeback after Kingdom. I think it could be an unnecessary distraction for those who would get into SKZ then, and the new group could also have issues gaining attention. Waiting a bit might be worth it on the long run.
If a rookie group somehow manage to steal attention of Stray Kids (a big group with years and Kingdom push) then this group imo deserves the spotlight

What do you expect? This is the most incompetent company in Kpop currently. I could understand if it was for the sake of a break for the group but anyone who follows them knows Twice are not on a break or getting any rest at all right now...
So it's like...what? No comeback until the Summer or later but also no solo promotion or sub units in that time? But also no time off during this break between comebacks? Can someone, anyone explain to me the logic of sense behind this?
