How much do idols make from insta ads?

You might want to look at some of Freezia's articles. I read some articles saying the rate is 10 won per follower (but follower engagement rate is important too) and her agency revealed her rate.
Blackpink members must be swimming in that insta money, they just need to maintain their brand.
QuoteHowever, the content creator’s agency, Hyowon CNC, revealed that before her scandal emerged, she would usually earn 30 million KRW per one sponsored Instagram post. Alternatively, a sponsored video costs around 80 million KRW. If converted to dollars, that is almost $24,000 and $66,500, respectively.

BP are rich rich

there's also I think a difference from a random sponsorship compared to being a muse or ambassador...
like I'm sure BP's contracts with their respecive fashion brands already include the amount for IG posts and stuff just like for example if WY posted about inisfree which I think should already be included in that deal...

BP are rich rich
I talked about this very thing on another thread and got made fun of .
BP is rolling in money via their branding, they sell like hotcakes, anything they advertise makes bank. The more money they make through non music, the less incentive they have to come out with music. Not only are comebacks expensive and time consuming, with BP videos costing up to 500k, they also increase the risk that something will happen to permanently damage their brand and jeopardize that CF money train.
The whole Jisoo Snowdrop manufactured scandal fiasco probably caused YGE officials to have nightmares of their gravy train getting derailed. We had the dumb made up nurses scandal, the stupid CA accusation scandals. Literally any time BP comes out with a song or a video or now a Kdrama, someone tries to target them to try and wreck their branding.
If you're making millions off of backcatalog streaming, Insta and all the other commercial advertising and endorsement opportunities, why incur all the risks associated with a comeback?

This honestly and unironically makes sense. Like why else would YG give other groups a comeback and not his stars?
-
To be fair, nobody has "regular" comebacks in YG
