Weeekly's Jiyoon won't promote album with members, taking hiatus due to anxiety

When idols have to take a second break it makes me question if the profession is right for them.

Same. She's pretty young - she should seriously consider going back to school and pursuing an alternative career while she still has the chance.... the pressure of an idol career (public scrutiny/dealing with antis/hate comments) will only get more intense the more successful weekly becomes.

When I saw it was about Jiyoon I was kinda sad but I understand it and hope she'll overcome as much as she can the anxiety overwhelming her

I get what you mean. Jiyoon is talented in many fields, including producing so she could still stay in music tho. That being said in the end, it's about what she wants and if she can do it

Health first, always. I hope the best for her.

I wonder what have they holistically explorered to help her with the anxiety up to this point? In the West, more than a few cases of anxiety are not just psychological but are due to an underlying vitamin deficiency or deficiencies.

I've personally noticed how the following can make a difference in fighting anxiety:

• Adaptogens (tea or tincture)
• CBD oil
• Meditation (daily)

What I wonder is if she was getting adequate treatment in the first place. they dont say how often she saw a therapist of shes getting medical treatment

I just can't imagine all the hate comments she most deal with to have anxiety like this.

I'd like to repeat what Lee Soojin, Weeekly's Leader posted when Jiyoon went on her first hiatus for anxiety issues:

"...there is nothing more important than Jiyoon’s health. Jiyoon must be healthy for Weeekly to be healthy”
