JYP needs a big act with the hability of make big money with tours. Now with NMixx having a bad start, Twice members can ask more money for the next contract 
Itzy is doing great but they are not at Twice level, and NMixx, well....

but i'm sure they will do great with the comeback, JYP cant make the same mistake twice, right?
Damn i did not think of this. Twice members definitely have leverage with their ginormous album sales that are only getting bigger. If NMIXX's next comeback flops, JYP might be on their hands and knees begging for the girls to renew. I mean without Twice, JYP is left with just Itzy and SKZ, with Day6 pretty much on hiatus and GOT7 gone.

Yes. But i don't think next comeback will flop. Probably JYP play safe and give them a very catchy song, ONE song, not three in one. But still, the girls have the advantage.

I know they were begging already before all this 
Itzy and Stray Kids were still at their prime but Twice's legendary status is more than enough reason for JYPE to extend their contracts no matter what. Gives my girls favorable contracts please
