Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a solo stan.

I solo stan Bobby from IKON. I love him so much. He's my favorite rapper. I thought his two solo albums were incredibly well done. He wrote and composed on all the tracks and there was such a variety. I mean compare

to

So good. The first album, in particular, is a no skips for me.

But, I just can't get into IKON. I really like a few of their songs, but most aren't my taste and I so I don't tend to listen/watch them even though Bobby is in the group. I wish them success, but I don't stan them.

Is being a solo stan so bad?

Yeah, I have nothing against the other members or ikon in general. I hope ikon succeeds, especially since they're success would make Bobby happy, I just don't click with their music. I really like his solo stuff and his stuff with MOBB though.

thanks! Yeah, sometimes we just vibe with a specific member. Honestly, that could lead into stanning the whole group sometimes. LIke, my love for Baekhyun and his solos really solidified my enjoyment of EXO into stanning them. But sometimes it won't and shouldn't that be okay? We like what we like.

I don't dislike them. I just literally don't listen to or watch ikon usually. I don't need to ignore them or pretend they are not there. Even though Bobby is in the songs, it doesn't compell me to watch the performances cuz I don't enjoy the songs. (I do like some and will listen to them. I'm not saying I hate all their music. I just don't click with them for the most part so don't listen. I do love this one tho)

Okay, I'll admit, while I liked a lot of Skz songs already, I was drawn to watch more of their stuff after noticing Hyunjin in God's Menu lol. Now though, I prefer Han and Felix.

I feel you. I l stan EXO and love all the members, but definitely prefer some solo albums versus others. It's not even really a member preference, but more a genre preference. Each member has a specific tone, style, and genre that they prefer. I vibe more with Baekhyun's voice and his musical choices more than the others. I wish them all success and think all the albums are well done, but I prefer to listen to Baek's solo stuff since my preference is RnB.

Solo stans and akgaes are different though, right? Solo stans don't wish ill on the others, but akgaes do.

I honestly don't get akgaes cuz don't you want your bias to be happy? Wouldn't the success of their group and their fellow members/friends make them happy.
