Vocaloids were just a 3d simulation program that you could put skins, program dance moves, and the singing was just a TTS with time dilation and autotune.
Seraphine was an art project and still sung with a real person.
and Etern!ty is just a Deepfake program on idols.
All three are puppet shows, not actual idols. The real idols are the creators but then again they are anon (esp with vocaloids since that was a home program you could buy)
Here's me thinking that this should be a learning type machine otherwise its still not totally AI or Virtual it just doesn't live up to its marketing is all.

Nothing against aespa but they come off as a 4th membered group you only see their ais in their mvs for like 5 seconds and that's it. Nowhere else.
Putting the word AI next to aespas name just because of weird looking AIs for 5 seconds in their MVs shouldn't motivate some people to bash others just because the term AI isn't related to SM or aespa as if they were the first ones.

yeah I know I only mentioned them since the article is about YG but yeah AI has been happening for a long time examples are KDA vocaloid virtual idols, Gorillaz etc
