Edit: im talking 5m sales a year. Assuming 1mil for prerelease and 2.5mil for album. Catalogue sales 800k. Counting solo catalogue another 200k. 4.5mil already

Before The Album came out no one believed any gg would sell 1M again, let alone 1.4M

Selling 5M by the end of the year would be difficult, their new album has to sell about 2M

But Blackpink has already proven that they can surprise everybody with their growth so I'd say if the hype for their album is big enuf 2M or more is definitely possible

The album is in course to sell 1.5-1.7M this year alone. I think they are big catalogue sellers and the album in the long run i reckon may sell 2M total and the newer album to be around 2.5-4M in korea.

YG is allergic to making money so I don't know.

Overall? Maybe with two albums. In one year 5M with two albums? , no. With one album? Hell no.
