ew so you’re one of those people 🤢🤮 the hole is big enough to put a whole hand in but sure sure he’s the one in the wrong here for not shutting up lmao your definition of “real men” is truly backwards and laughable. Maybe if he or someone else broke their neck over a hole yall’d finally stfu about “excuses” and admit it’s a real hazard 🙄

He will never be Daisuke Takahashi. When Daisuke slipped at a major competition, did he bitch and moan about it, and made it publicly known? NO, he did not. Be like him, be like Yuna Kim. Whatever happened to the Japanese stoicism?
-
-
no he did not “bitch and moan” about it, he simply answered people’s questions of what happened. It’s no different from anyone explaining what went wrong with their performance and it’s perfectly within reason. It’s not like he cried about it to anyone who listened; his outlook is not negative and he never expresses ill will towards anyone; in fact he goes out of his way to treat all skaters especially those younger extremely well. But even that’s not enough for yall people bc you’re just looking for anything to hate on him and if he’s not a saint he’s immediately rubbish or a whiny bitch or whatever, all his sportsmanship suddenly gone just like that 🙄

Watching this for suspicious activity.

No, it’s just that she’s a fan of IU
-
it’s unfortunate but it’s apart of the sport. It’s just a risk every single skater takes. It’s happened to him on other occasions as well. This also happened to Mao asada at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
Hanyu is still a favorite for bronze, if he skates well he will medal. He’s been able to bounce back from stuff like this. 2017 worlds when he ended 5th in the short only to have the skate of his life (and what most agree to be the best mens free skate ever) to win his second worlds title.
In 2019 world championships, he popped the same jump a quad salchow to a double in the short program, but he ended up 2nd due to a good free skate

Hopefully the failed drug test thing gets sorted out.

They test Russians but they never test Americans.

Who is this?
obvious try hard troll.

They test everyone.

the decision will be out in about an hour. Unknown wether she’ll be pulled out of the individual event or not.
She tested positive for a drug that’s helpful for angina attacks… except she’s a highly competitive figure skater who wouldn’t need that. The drug would have helped her with stamina though, and allow her to train more hours.
Not really suprising, her coaching team in general has been under fire for years for a bunch of unhealthy practices. Things like overtraining and eating disorders.
-
Lol the delusion
-
She's so graceful and wonderful to watch. Hope she is cleared.
-
its sad whats happening to her
She's just 15

her coaches shouldn’t have given her the drug honestly.
it’s not even legal for use in some countries, whether for sport or just medical reason.

lol that user is saying op is a tryhard troll, NOT that you are a tryhard troll Anyway they misunderstand your question so i’ll answer it: valieva is a russian figure skater and the heavy favourite for the gold medal at the ongoing olympics, but she’s currently embroidered in a doping scandal (russia strikes yet again lol) with no official statement yet so yeah..

She’s underaged so the IOC is basically wondering if they can even outright ban her for competing since she would be considered too “immature” to know what she was taking. If that was the case then her coaches must have been doping her “without” her knowledge.
Basically coaches using underaged athletes as pawns since minors can’t be held responsible for doping.

yeah it’s all kinds of fucked up bc the drug in question is supposed to be prescribed for a heart condition extremely uncommon in women under 25, plus if an athlete actually has that condition they’d never be able to compete at the top anyway, so it’s impossible that legit doctors actually prescribed that drug to her or she actually sought out to get that drug on her own, which leaves the only possibility that it’s a systematic type of doping funded by russia through her coaches. And now they’re playing the “she’s underage” card so she shouldn’t receive the same punishment as everyone else (but she should still be able to compete and receive the prize as other people for some reason lmao), which basically signals that it’s perfectly fine for underage kids to take performance enhancing drugs to compete bc they won’t face repercussions. It’s a complete joke lmao, a whole sham of a competition, and it’s a crime that russia will probably get away with it again

Not gonna lie, wished they just outright ban Russian athletes. This whole “ROC” is pointless since they’re still from Russia, with the same coaches and same organizations.
And yeah they’ll get away with it considering this is being held in China. China and Russia are bestfriends and China has a hold on the IOC right now.
-
Famous people like other famous people? I'm shocked.
-
It is strange that she is a fan of Lee Jieun since the latter never really tried to promote in Russia ever

That's a lot of accusations...
