Does ugly and cliche name affect the popularity of a group?

Yes, it's really hard to find songs from groups with names like Favourite and Nature for this reason, which makes it harder for fans and anyone wanting to be interested in the group.

I think the worst name I've seen is the group called kpop. Usually for groups with common names all you have to do is add kpop at the end and search results will show. But for the group k'pop it's pretty impossible to find anything on them anywhere. Even if you type k'pop kpop group nothing will show up

BTS isn’t cliche but I do agree since it’s from a common abbreviation, it would have been hard to search for them
