My thoughts on idols and the brands they endorse + what I think suits them better

    Lisa

    Celine… I think it’s very boring for someone that can pull off anything like her. She could pull off flashy, in-your-face clothes and Celine is more about elegance and minimalism… with that being said, she pulls off their clothes so well and make them way more interesting to look at. I think she’s doing the brand a huge favor.


    Rosé

    Perfect match for YSL. Tall, skinny blonde that pulls off both their classier and their rock-ish clothes.


    Jennie

    Chanel makes grandma clothes. Jennie is luxurious but also YOUNG… some of Chanel’s newest pieces make anyone under the age of 40 look like children in their grandma clothes. The times I thought Jennie looked amazing in Chanel she was wearing vintage, 80s and 90s pieces which is their prime.

    I think Gucci was the best brand for her. Back in 2018 she was nicknamed human Gucci and it fit her like a glove. Luxurious but without the retirement home vibes.

    Also, Jacquemus aka the IT girl brand… she seems to like it a lot as she wears it often too :(


    Jisoo + Suzy

    Dior by MGC is a tragedy and they’re SO incredibly lucky to have Jisoo as their global ambassador and Suzy as their house friend.

    Jisoo surprisingly pulls off their stuff so kudos to her. I think she deserves clothes that are less tacky but she totally makes it work, same with Suzy. Another case of the brand being extremely lucky.

    I hate LV. They deserve better than that. In most of their shoots the clothes are horrid… That’s all I’ll say. Taehyung needs to get a gig with Gucci.


    IU

    She’s the korean ambassador of Gucci the biggest mismatch ever… IU and Gucci???

    She fits Miu Miu. They love innocent doll-like faces, their ambassador is Wonyoung, their chinese ambassador is Yang Chaoyue. They had Lee Yoo Mi ( Squid game girl with a nose piercing ) for editorials iirc. She fits their taste PERFECTLY…


    Joy

    I’m counting the days till the contact ends with Tods it’s such a boring brand. Their clothes are ugly I’m sorry. Joy deserves something like Blumarine not ugly ass Tods


    Aespa

    Unpopular opinion Givenchy DOES have some pieces that work on Aespa. Im not gonna lie it’s mostly a grandma brand and yes they look like children in grandma clothes sometimes or just a total mess ( ALL their award fits from last year ) but sometimes they get cute fits from the editorials… but Givenchy’s “edgier” clothes are limited and again it’s 70% grandma stuff

    Ningning is a gifted model that makes everything work. She fits Fendi not Givenchy. Giselle and Alexander Wang, Winter and Burberry/Miu Miu ( can’t pick ) if she has that softer styling they gave her at debut or with the icy aura she’s had lately.. her and Karina for Vivienne Westwood I can’t pick

    Tbfh Aespa’s whole image and concept + Vivienne Westwood is perfect


    Wonyoung

    Miu Miu is a perfect match for her. Wether it’s their more classic pieces or the quirky ones… it’s perfect. I’d like to see her wear Blumarine, Ozlana, she’d pull it off very well

    I would do IVE as a whole but I don’t know all the girls enough. Yujin has some gigs with Alexander McQueen and I think she’d do a fine job giving the brand a breath of fresh air

    im army, but im not completely convinced with LV either

    i think its mostly bc the members all have a very different vibe,

    so one brand for them all doesn't seem very fitting (i know it's the OT7 agenda, but still)

    i don't know a lot about big brands, but from my limited knowledge


    jhope & joon fit LV

    tae fits gucci/armani

    jimin givency/YSL

    jk balenciaga

    jin armani/prada

    suga ford/hermes

    Yeah I know BTS are very OT7, barely any solo stuff… but LV doesn’t fit most of them and the clothes they give them are hit or miss for some reason??

    LV does have some gems. But they sometimes miss seriously badly and it’s a shame

    I agree w you if I had to keep one member for LV it’d be RM and I’d give him the black, long coats, dark pieces that fit his vibe well

    J-Hope could pull off their more colorful clothes so I see the vision!

    OP this was a interesting thread to read :thumbup: i agree with IU, i have no idea who in gucci looked at IU and thought that she would the brand.. her photos with Kai make this more obvious.

    I really wish jennie was endorsing Jacquemus. It really suits her. But chanel can be fun.

    LV is an accessory brand so the clothing is always on the ugly side. LV bags are great.

    I’ve seen some people say Yoona doesn’t fit but honestly I think she does?? Miu Miu is mostly a quirky, bright brand but they do have some classic elegant pieces and someone like Yoona pulls them off. She’s the more elegant side of the brand. I actually like it

    Karina and Vivienne Westwood is such a good match 😞😞😞 overall Aespa rlly fit them I remember the whole group getting custom fits for an award show
