I can only see this with all members of BTS along with some members of bp and exo. I don't know if other fandoms have such strong solo contenders.
Maybe we should look at fandoms with a very skewed solo fan distribution or those where a good majority of the fan base biases a specific member

1,007,625 copies sold in 2021I was just correcting my statement, I know Baekhyun growth as soloist has been insane and his debut was in 2019 when the physical market in kpop wasn’t as big as now. Also I’m talking about new debuts not members that already debuted.

okay i guess my point is if he can do it i'm sure any other exo member can, if there's even a member who hasn't debuted as a soloist yet. and if he can do it it's obvious bts can. nct has a big enough fan base. I'm sure if ten released a full solo he may be close he's extremely talented. People would probably love to hear xiaojun.
