    It's 60% raw numbers and 40% judges which allows them to pivot towards giving awards to people who perform where possible. It's not purely numbers based. IU was the biggest artist performing (from an SK perspective).

    BTS sells so much that they squish everyone under them. TWICE only had a 2.5 pts lead, ATEEZ 5.5 pts. In the end, it's up to the 40 judge points.

    Aespa's awards are interesting though, both MMA and GDA introduced or reintroduced new awards and gave to Aespa.


    At least Record of the year, is ok, but Artist of the year seems a stretch, and misleading because at GDA, it is not a Daesang.


    Seems everyone is sucking up to LSM, hoping it would help their chances of buying his shares.


    Melon MMA is Kakao, but GDA is JTBC, isn't it?

    Are they also trying to get into SM?

    Yet some awards introduced don't make much sense.

    But then, that's usual for awards.


    For example, Brave Girls, obviously can't get Song or Album, but they could have got Artist, but they aren't SM.

    That makes a lot of difference.
