Everyone said this idol and actor looked dangerous and scary until his put his hair down

There was a trainee from Produce 101 season 2 called Joo Jinwoo from MMO (former Kang Daniel agency, auditioned with him, Jaehan and Jisung) who knetz were writing posts about how scary he looks (despite him being so not scary and very talented) with his updo

I personally think he looked handsome, but that's besides the point

When he was confused in the first episode, somebody drew pigtails on him and that post hit big lol

Then somebody found one of his selfies from pre-Broduce with his hair down

This selfie went viral and everyone started saying Joo Jinwoo was actually good looking and cute (no sh*t)

There was even a petition for him to appear with his hair down in the next episode

Of course, the producers were smart enough to do exactly that and his hair was styled down for the next performance and his visuals received a lot of praise

From then on, he appeared with both his hair up and down and national producers went crazy

But idk how anyone could think this cutie was scary when he could fit into my back pocket (yes I am aware he is actually taller than me but that's beside the point)

He went on to release solo music, changed companies and signed with an acting company and is now pursuing and acting career

He has an amazing voice

Cast him into something big please (but I've read that after two years with the acting agency his contract ended and they didn't renew so that sucks )

I don't know why his last post on Instagram was this (March 2021) but I hope everything is alright

One memorable moment from Produce for me was when he saw another trainee crying and he went to comfort him and told him that crying won't help him change anything, but not giving up and working hard will (he said, let's both work hard from now on) and that was a really good advice

OH and, if there are any Deobis who watched Broduce, you might remember him by the nickname 'Haknyeon's Oppa' or even 'Haknyeon's appa'.

Look at these two dorks lightstick fighting in the back lol

Haknyeon was his junior from Hanlim, they were in the same class at Broduce, they shared the last name and Haknyeon stuck to him like glue and in turn Jinwoo really encouraged and took care of him as his older friend! It was really sweet.

I hope for more roles and music from him!

I can find only one acting credit for him and it's in a web drama with Pentagon's Hongseok from 2019

His last post was in March of last year so I guess 10 months. I don't know, to be honest he hasn't been active in a while and allegedly when his contract expired with his acting company, it didn't get renewed for some reason.

I wish him nothing but the best, he's very talented and he got what it takes and I really want to see more from him. He has a great voice. So pleasant and so good. And he can act from what I've seen.

If he is, he hasn't said anything nor did said company post anything so unfortunately I think he isn't signed, which is a damn shame. He's 28 now so it's quite unfortunate that ageism could be what's stopping him from furthering career. 28 is still really young! The industry treats people past 24 like old milk unfortunately, but talent doesn't expire.
