Proof promo and radio really helps and this is all thanks for Coldplay team and label. BH could learn a thing for two.

The song is a delight too. I never tire of it and it’s played a lot on the radio where I am from.

Viral songs come and go. Quality songs remain.

I hear it constantly on the radio. My parents listen to 2 radios and a different one for me and it's on three of them. One thing I'm meh about is one of the radio always says it's a Coldplay song and never mentions the featuring.

This collab is great on many levels, I like the song, coldplay are nice folks, it's a fantastic opportunity. And the radios don't even cut any Korean part.

But do they the Korean lyrics, because for BWL, they would cut out the Korean and just play the eng parts.

European radio stations seem like they care less about the fact that their is korean in it compared to US radio.

Well while they also are prejudiced against songs of other languages, there's been at least two different languages in most of the songs played (country language + english) so it's slightly more open than for English speaking countries. The only difference is that we've constantly heard non native language songs even without understanding it (which is some of the lame argument against koren songs and other songs) but tbh the english hegemony has made it impossible to avoid english songs, so much that french radios have to respect a 50% french speaking songs ratio.

But tbh the fact that it's a Coldplay song and that he promoted as one of its main singles is the main reason why it's played so much and consistently. I saw a stark difference before/after Coldplay came to promote on french shows.

I'm glad they put the whole song but it's only a small step.
