Would be great but we also know how toxic parts of the fandom are and they are extremely loud. So any perspective producers will be afraid to cast bts members in a film for fear fans will bite their heads off if they think xyz member is being treated unfavorably by them dying in the film or the char they playing being mean evil or some sort of antagonist or anti hero.

jisoo didn't get the role because she was cheaper but for clout, and obviously casting directors saw her potential. she's internationally popular and the show will be available to the international audience as well. win-win for both parties.

Yeah... maybe I didn't word it right. Don't get me wrong Tae's not a bad actor necessarily, but the main reason they want him is for his fanbase. But that doesn't necessarily mean he is not in demand. Especially considering they were willing to pay him what some big actors make in SK. Honestly most big names aren't the best actors. I remember reading that he sought after, most probably for his fanbase.

About Jisoo's case. It is a bit different considering the drama will be available on disney so they def wanted her for her international fanbase. But in most cases idols in general get paid less than actors since a fanbase mostly can't carry an entire show unless you are bts.
