Times when nugudom protected an idol from their scandal blowing up?

you know what I always say to ppl hating on sm?

that such things happen to smaller companies too, probably even more. its just that sm (or jyp, yg etc) are bigger fishes and gain more attention. in the end it means more money for the media as ppl are more interested in the big companies.

ppl that think smaller companies are 'better' and treat their idols good are just delusional.

idols probably get treated better in bigger companies, because they dont have to take a loan and actually make money at some point - unlike smaller ones.

My own controversial opinion is that, if you're dumb enough to throw money at celebrities, that's on you. But I know a lot of people view this as the idol scamming their fans.

For another controversy, I always thought it was entertaining that FTI's Minhwan and Laboum's Yulhee had a child, then got married, and that resulted in them joining a reality series and gaining in popularity. I'm sure part of it is that FTI has been around for so long (he got married 11 years after he debuted), but I think a bigger part of it is that Hongki is the only person most people recognize from FTI. Super Junior's Sungmin got married 9 years after debut, didn't even have a baby first, and he's been stuck with solo activities ever since. I wonder if ELFs will ever forgive him; it has been SEVEN years after all.
