Do you find it odd that the youngest JYP group are more mature in concept than their oldest (Twice)?

itzy came first before aespa

so SM saw that BP and Itzy was being successfull with girlcrush and made aespa

also jyp had girlcush before with Miss A, just that miss A was more of a sexy concept

also, both SM and Jyp change concepts from one group to the next one, while YG is always girl crush, i wonder if they will ever be able to do anything else

It’s call product differentiation

They already have cute and teen crush, if they can do something with “mature” then it’s to our benefit. “Mature” is a very broad term. Let’s just see what concept they can come up with.

BP may have been an ITZY influence however. After MITM, ITZY is full on girl crush. It would be dumb of JYP to have 2 young full girl crush groups.

And like I said in a previous thread, it's better to have groups target different demos. That way they can diversify fans. We haven't even seen the concept photos or heard the teasers yet.

What does aespa have to do with jypn? They released Next Level 6 months ago... While the jypn blind package was announced 5 months ago. Jypn's lineup and concept had already been confirmed well before Aespa took off and the group itself was planned before aespa even debuted.

This. Itzy has already evolved into girl crush and is doing that atm. Mature concepts can be anything from twice's cry for me to izone's concept to something like RV's velvet concept etc.

If it was straight up girl crush I'm sure jyp would have mentioned that specifically in the articles describing them.
