So this is my theory so far...

Stage 0 - The 7th Sense - the members enter sleep and approach REM sleep to dream. Taeyong is the door which Shotaro enters first.

Stage 1 - Seeing Myself in a Dream - the members begin their individual dream and seeing themselves in their dream is the signal to themselves that they're fully dreaming

Stage 2 - Surfing in Ours Dreams - resonation begins and the members slowly begin to gain access to each other's dreams, but aren't fully aware of the other's presence.

Stage 3 - Synchronization of Dreams - exactly what it says on the tin, the members' dreams are now synchronized and they can move freely between their dreams. (Jaemin leaves his whistle in Hendery's dream and Hendery travels to Jaemin's dream to return it.)

Johnny is still the experimenter. He uses the Dream Lab to monitor Shotaro's dream which is attempting to resonate with Sungchan's dream.
