Funny, I never would see people complain about such stuff in Japanese groups. There was a group in Japan where one member decided to call himself Joshua (wich was not his realname) and nobody complained, but if that would've been a KPop-group people would've most likly asked "Why the F is his name Joshua?" And I mostly only heared weird coments on JPop-names when a KPop-fan got into music of a Japanese group... The most complaints I heard so far were about a guy who's realname is Mandy, since it is for most people a female name. But in KPop people are sooo sensetive sometimes... I remember on the old forum where someone said Kai of TXT should feel sorry that his name is Kai because of Kai from EXO and I was like "Bruh Kai of TXT was born as Kai..." and that person seriously said "Even if so, he should've used a stagename to not dissrespect Kai of EXO" o.o I was like: "What?" and than someone else wrote back than that they also think the same and said that DK of iKON should apaologize to DK of SEVENTEEN o.o
