After Chopstick I think it's really time for NiziU to debut soon in Korea

  • They don't actually do that much in Japan, they go to Japan for promo for 3-4 weeks, and have been there more as they are doing live concerts now in Japan.

But they had been going for 3-4 weeks, then returning to Korea

I used the wrong word. I don't mean the literal promotion, but promoting in a country. They would have to put a pause on their Japanese releases to do a Korean one.

  • Y’all know y’all can have minds for yourselves right? Not every opinion you have has to be in the eyes of a typical Korean

I personally would love to hear Korean versions of their music, original Korean songs, and seeing them promote on K-shows

  • Lol I don’t know if that’s going to work with the newer Kpop ggs debuting around the corner right now. Would they even be able to compete? The longer jype waits, the harder it will be for them to turn enough heads once 5th gen becomes saturated with younger groups just like them. They’re also a full Japanese gg except for Nina with no Korean members and all of them aren’t fluent in the language either. To put it straight, they ain’t ready. :pepestare:

  • They will flop so hard they aren’t remotely popular in Korea

It’s easy to break the Japanese market when you’re a Korean group but it’s not the same case when you’re a j-pop Group

The chances of them flopping are actually kind of high honestly. Personal opinion, but I don’t see anything really eye catching about them. Sure they’re cute but that’s about it. A lot of the times their voices sound nasally to me. They’re not really going to stand out against the newer ggs if they’re going to be doing a similar concept to them and are within the same age range.

Exactly they are literally a rip off of twice they need to stand out plus it will be hard with all the upcoming gg

They have no competition in Japan but the 46 and 48 groups and that’s about it. In Korea on the other hand, it’s a different story lol Kpop is going to get more interesting and competitive than it has been in a while at least with the upcoming ggs and I don’t think Niziu is going to be bringing anything to the table than what we’ve already seen from Korean ggs for years. And I’ve seen it all as a veteran kpop fan for 11 years so…
