After Chopstick I think it's really time for NiziU to debut soon in Korea

  • I don't think they would perform on 2021 MAMA but

they could deffo debut in Q1 in SK

TWICE is now releasing album so they probably will make comeback in may/june. ITZY was working hard so I think they might have just 1 single/ep in first half of 2022. Unless there will be situation when both groups will go on USA tour, which wouldn't be anything strange considering how there are already big crowds in sports events in USA.

And JYPn will debut in february 2022. After that debut they will probably make 1st comeback around september. This gives a lot of room to put somewhere there NiziU. They basically just need one new song which will be Korean single, and add few others re-recorded from JPN to KR.

  • They will flop so hard they aren’t remotely popular in Korea

It’s easy to break the Japanese market when you’re a Korean group but it’s not the same case when you’re a j-pop Group

That’s why they have to actually promote in Korea. Then when they’re see over there they can get attention. Just because it’s stereotypical for Koreans not to care about Jpop acts doesn’t mean every Jpop act will be a impossible to be big there, so why not try

They have fluent Korean speakers, there music is appealing, they have JYP backing them up, and more

And considering they are a Japanese group, they don’t have to be A-tier in order to be considered not a flop. And while idk how it would work for them on charts (although it’s not easy for idol groups at all like it used to), they’re still gonna sell plenty of albums in Korea alone let alone worldwide, even moreso since Japanese fans will still buy it

Why would JYPE debut them in Korean when they are debuting new Korean group and NiziU is making bank in Japan?

    aren't they popular in Japan?

it's not only about that, you all seem to miss a point of performing in Korean music shows for 2-3 weeks...

it's not only about Korea itself but also about gaining another boost in new international fans, good catchy song, nice choreo and stages in M Countdown, Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo can bring not only some knetz on the board but also all those people who didn't watch Nizi Project, and kind of didn't care about Niziu because well... they weren't promoting in Korea...

+ it also can help attract some Korean brands for more CF's

They still rookies jyp will not sacrifice his money maker in Japan for the sake of Korea validation

Maybe in few years but it too fresh right now they have to established themselves as a top group in Japan first

  • Didn't they have a Korean single before ??? Or a Korean ver of a song at least ?

they had Korean versions of songs before but that's not the same as a formal debut.

But why would they do that if they are debuting new girl group in Korea?

  • But why would they do that if they are debuting new girl group in Korea?

because we are not in 2014 anymore when agencies had one, sometimes two girl groups and that's all

  • what? I'm not talking about having 2 groups at one time like Twice and Itzy, I'm talking about debuting 2 girl groups at the same time and hindering their growth...

everyone knows that JYPn will debut in february

then like I said they will probably be back somewhere around september

somewhere between they should put NiziU in music shows:)

  • Why are you all obsessed with them to have a music in korea they’re Japanese gg let them promote in japan niziu doesn’t need korea

Exactly they are huge in Japan at this rate they will probably surpass twice in few years why would they need Korea especially when k groups don’t have any longevity while in Japan you can last forever ex tvxq

Japan is like 2nd biggest market in world few bucks from Korea will not change anything

  • I would like to see NiziU in a guest appearance on MCountdown and KCON like other Jpop groups JO1 and ÌNI. I think that should be possible.
