I think so.

If it isn't, it will be difficult to release in the 1st quarter because BTS album rollout takes a month long while announcement comes atleast 6 weeks before the album release. If there is a pre release like 'Black Swan' then increase the period to atleast 8 weeks. And they have pretty packed schedule for the next 3 months it looks like with the concert, award shows, year end festivals, etc.

Let's see. All the first albums of BTS new era's have had 'Intro' songs. Then a main single. No 'Outro' release like they did during MOTS7 or a pre release. MOTS7 rollout is the most experimental rollout BTS have had and also very confusing. Anyways back to the point. The point us there has always been a post release like 'DOPE', 'Mic Drop', 'Make it Right'. The album rollout is almost always different with BTS. There is no set pattern. But the rollout for the first album of each era is very similar.

So this hype song thay they talked about in the latest episode of 'In The Soop' might be a post release.

I'm hurt since I'm On Army but fair

They want to make more exciting songs that fit the nature of concerts!!! I’m hyped!!!! I remember their idol performance in the concert, they opened with IDOL it was fking majestic!!! I am happy!! Also nice to how all the members work together, yoongi making beats, asking Jungkook to make the melody and etc!!

i think that people might have been dissatisfied because they expected a different sound and got disappointed when they didn't get it at least that's my theory

yeah, they will probably announce it during the last concert (one day after UMG deal kicks in ) maybe pre-orders during december/jan and the album coming out late january

So some hype songs, they speak about Hip Hop songs and they are working with this Hip Hop producer. I am really excited about this album.
