I just saw yuri and Eunbi are nominated for new female artist category with aespa stayc and lightsum... I mean accepted cause they made their solo debuts.. but why isnt Lisa, rose, wendy and Joy then? didnt they make their debut as well as soloists?
how is it okay for izone members solos to get nominated but not these ones even though they are far more successful?

Well, Msnake seems to avoid doublecounting acts. If you're in the best female artist category, you wont be nominated in the best new female artist category. Lisa and Rose are in the former.
With all due respect to Joy and Wendy, neither of their debuts come close to the quality of Yuri and Eunbi, especially Eunbi, her album is literally an AOTY contender.

Because IZ*One is gone and these girls debuted as new permanent soloists without any attachment to any group? It's really not that complicated. Just go look at MAMA history for New Artist and look for any nominees of idols that went solo WHILE still in on-going groups. I sure don't see any. Not even Jennie for Solo.
If BP had disbanded and then Lisa/Rose went solo, then they would have been nominated.
