Do you ever feel like you have to prove to certain people that you're a fan of a group you stan?

Don't let other people tell you how to be a fan. Being a fan of a group is a very personal thing. As long as you're not hurting anyone, fan however you want!!!!!

If it's that tense and toxic, I just wouldn't post. Don't wanna feel like I need to prove anything

no I just simply don't care :") I'm here to enjoy music and being a fan if I wanted a headache I'd go join the kpop group at uni or something (constant gatekeeping)

look at me for example I can say that I'm a fan of quite a few GG but I've never spent a cent on them, I've never streamed their songs and I don't attack nor defend them...I still consider myself a fan and if others don't think so so be it ...no water off my back

I think the thing is as soon as you come to the realisation that you don't have to conform to the norm of what a fan is then everything is hunky dory!!!!
