The bgm for the Sticker mood sampler was also not used and it was fire, too.

They all look amazing, I was not expecting this type of styling for Catharsis when the first teasers came out.

The bgm reminds me of this

This teaser honestly makes me so hopeful. I want something gritty

Also the styling also feels a bit retro, but like 70s (or even 70s revival in the 90s) mixed with 80s punk...

but the classic version gave me mod vibes

Either way, with the font and the styling so far, I would be surprised if there were no retro elements to the song at all atp

Both Classic and Catharsis are concepts meant for the album versions. They have nothing to do with the real concept of this comeback imo.

Maybe things will be clearer with 'Story of Favorite'.

I still believe they could have subtle hints. Even the Sticky/City teasers made sense to me in relation to the actual MV.

Bold/colorful futuristic tech theme (Sticky ver) and city lights (Las Vegas -> City ver). The only seemingly random part was the whole college thing (thank god), but I think that was just a red herring to make the 360 reveal to the hacker theme more shocking (or to represent the softer b-sides).

The recurring retro theme around the same general era seems too repetitive to me to ignore completely

Even if it's something as simple as one retro element in the song, or just a retro vibe and/or styling in the MV. I'm leaning toward late 70s atp

I'm choosing to believe this is inaccurate and completely ignoring Elevator having the same description.

To be fair, the track description for Sticker was actually pretty accurate. Of course no one expected THAT, but in hindsight it does make sense.

I still think they should have included an interlude or intro in this album... Missed opportunity since all their previous full albums have it.
