My only hesitation to this narrative is ex-produce group soloist/groups tend to be very frontloaded, as in, they have most of their success right after they leave the produce group, but after that, their popularity tends to decrease.
Maybe she’ll be different but history says otherwise.
Actually I think she'll benefit from being one of the first ones to go solo. She's basically top 5 in terms of popularity in IZ*ONE domestically, and with most of the popular members(Sakura, Chaewon Wonyoung, etc) either debuting in a group soon(don't want to burst anyone's bubble but post-Produce groups are mostly cursed lmao) or ditching the idol life altogether(Minju), Yuri is one of the only "popular" members of the group(at least domestically) that's going solo, so most WIZ*ONEs will likely focus their attention onto her and ensure her longevity.
We've seen how popular Produce members that go solo usually achieve alot more success. Kang Daniel, Somi, Chungha, etc, are all prime examples of this.

First of all Minju is not ditching idol life .
Secondly, all post produce groups have pretty much flopped but we havent seen one come out of a label like Hybe before, i highly doubt they will let their first GG flop, the hype will be tremendous.
But overall, i agree, solo ventures are the best paths to success. Actually, an Izone subunit would be the best but we know that is almost impossible.

I normally woudnt discount this but we've already seen proof of Wizone's buying power and willingness to spend lol. Lotta rich uncle fan types in the Wizone fandom that can afford to bulk buy without batting an eye.

99 % of those who bought that album were wizones

You are still at this.. ?
Wiz*ones are spending the money they collected for Parallel Universe on her and Eunbi.
Her being the next IU depends, can the Wiz*ones remain organized behind her -doubtful since there are other ex-IZ*ONEs, become something like BLINKs.
OR she getting the immense love of GP, like IU has.
Too early to say either way.
How are her digital ULs? if good, then there is potential.

Unfortunately, with produce groups the loyalty wears off quite fast.
She might sell 50k the next time, but she must have a solid hit to maintain that level

What makes IU the big name she's, is her amazing digital sales, not her physicals, that's just a plus. Many solos can sell good physically if they are debuting right after their group disbandment and were part of a produce group. But almost none of them can chart, and Yuri is part of that group.
She will be lucky if she can keep the fandom and don't get me wrong, she's actually doing great for a female solo, but with how poor her digitals are I wouldn't even claim she's next sejeong.
