Like no matter what you think of her or the site the fact is at this point it is almost like a Korean entertainment history archive because she started translating netizen reactions so early was it all the way back in 2012 and has done that consistently since then.

So you can find knetizen reactions to pretty much all major and even many really minor not really even newsworthy events that happened in the past 9 years there and also of course international fans reaction and discussions on the comment sections for those events.

So personally I am actually really sad to see the site gone.

Yes, nb is like kpop museum for us international fans.

Not people actually giving credential to that site for translating some few worthless comments on some random korean websites just bc they were originally written in korean lol. Imagine if the likes of seulgiabs or tehsub got their comments cherry picked and translated into korean and advertised as the representative of the whole international english-speaking side of kpop fans lmao; yall’d be lucky if koreans only call ifans roaches based on those comments

I agree, I heard how they were responsible about some witch hunts against idols but I also blame kpop fans for taking things like a 2 upvotes comments and speaking like it was representative of Korean society… still today they do that and it bothers me a lot lol

It was never “netizen” reaction. It was a selection of hateful comments tailored to what the translator felt like. Removing it off the internet is great and will not result in a biased viewing of the past.
