Corden has been known to have attitude issues for years, he probably did something or they noticed that he wasn't genuine I think. This is normal, like meeting someone for the first time and having a great time with them then realizing you don't really get along with that person after hanging out with them.
I've heard Corden is just a bad person. The comments Corden made about Bts being "unusual guests" at the un and their "15-year old girl" fandom pissed Army, probably Bts (and to a lesser extent, Hybe) off.

He isn't very popular here in the UK. To be honest, I feel like a lot of people who hype up K pop acts like BTS or BP are just doing it for clout.
He's just annoying and rude
Nothing really "happened" between him and BTS imo. He's a talk show host and most of them are extremely nice to the guest they interview and pretend to be huge fans of them and know everything about them, but in reality they don't really actually care for the most part. Most of the stuff they would have talked about on the show was done by the research time and written by the writers.
Making jokes about them later isn't even just something that happens to BTS. Late night hosts will tell numerous jokes about a celebrity in the news and then later talk to them like they're bffs for like.
Like I remember last year when Blackpink promoted HYLT on Jimmy Fallon and he called them one of the best kpop groups or something and people got mad because he said the same thing about BTS when they were there... but he'd say that about literally anyone who comes on his show because that's his job - to promote them.
