[GP999] Example of how “Stan Talent” doesn’t apply to C-Group/J-Group

I was very confused by Ifans who complained about Xingqiao being in the top 9. Yet these will be the same people who claim they stan talent

For main/lead vocal standards, she could use a little bit if training on her stability. But in any other case, she’s great

But yet certain stans (who prob didn’t even see her performances, or still glossed over her part anyway) claim she made the top 9 solely for her visuals

You’ll have people cry about how “people don’t value talent”, and will just name Jiyoon, Hyerim, Jia, Yeyoung, Jiwon, & Doah as the examples. Meanwhile ignoring how Reina, Miu, Ayana, Yiman, Yale, and Ziyin (she technically made it, but dropped out due to health issues) got cut too. Especially Ziyin & Reina who were one of the best singers on the show

Even amongst the remaining foreign girls not in the top 9. You got the likes of Wen Zhe, Yaning, Shana, & Kotone still there

Like Jiwon & Doah are talented, but let’s be real, if they were part of C-Group or J-Group, the outrage for their elimination wouldn’t be high, let alone people using them as examples of lost talent

Meanwhile if Hikaru, Ruiqi, Shana, and the like were part of K-group and god forbid got eliminated, you’d have people writing essays about how unfair it was for them to get axed off

Moral of the story, every group has great girls, both amongst the eliminated & amongst those still around. But yet the “Stan Talent” crew conveniently only name K-Group girls as victims of that. Meanwhile they’ll turn to C-Group & J-Group girls to blame

Yeah definitely a coincidence and no nationalistic biases at all lol

Which sucks cuz she’s truly deserving of debuting, but I know it’s gonna be a while (if ever) that they’ll see her in a good light

Sucks even more when it’s not like she chose to do it on her own accord. These C-girls & their C-companies (even K-companies in some cases) are forced to post it
