I'm mad confused I thought it was RV = EXO brother/ sister with like no interactions LOL but anyways going along with what you said, I guess you mean in terms of success?
BP = BTS (Makes the most sense )
Twice = EXO (No comment)
RV = I wanna say NCT maybe GOT7 no shade LOOOOL
Izone = NCT
this is actually fun

lol, as much as this is a troll thread, I see people are pressed that Twice is compared to EXO.
It's ok fellows, I cringe just as hard when I think about EXO having to endure these types of comparisons with the likes of Twice.

Ehhh, they can be compared to someone. They say you're reaching greatness when they start comparing you to other acts.

In the beginning there were rumors that RV would have a lot more members, since in RV's debut MV 'Happiness' a lot of SM Rookies members like Yeri but also others pop up. But seems like they didn't go through adding those to RV, only Yeri.
But before that, for a while SM had this paired debut thing going on, where each booy group had a girl group who were eachother's mirror in concept and ideas:
DBSK (TVXQ) & The Grace CSJH => both groups very strong in vocals and dance
Super Junior & SNSD => both the first large groups, setting the trend for large groups and both the more experimental 'project' groups, taking more risks in concepts and ideas
SHINee & f(x)
EXO => this is where the pairing seems to get abandoned, since there isn't really a similar girl group that SM debuts that's a mirror of EXO.
After EXO, you have Red Velvet and NCT but they're both very different groups in styles and setup.
Although both Red Velvet and NCT seem to be an evolution of former SM groups in several ways:
Red Velvet is a mix of SNSD and f(x), with SNSD's flavor of bright songs mixed up with f(x) unconventialness which shows up in RV's edgier quirkiness and consistent dual concept they've kept using
NCT is an evolution of EXO's 'multiple groups as one' concept, enhanced even further by having more subgroups as well as rotational, exchanging members between groups.
