Personally, I thought their Korean fanbase had a bigger jump when their dream chapter: eternity came out. I think the power placement amongst the 4th generation slowly evened out after X1’s disbandment.

I would say especially NCT and also Seventeen

It was clear when Wanna One was active they were the only 10+ member group they cared about in a big way. After they disbanded, NCT suddenly rised in popularity in Korea. X1 could have probably dethroned NCT again, but when they disbanded so quick NCT stayed up

most 4th gen groups that exist, X1 would probably the Top 4th gen bg.
