Observations:
-EXO, SEVENTEEN and TWICE got their biggest hits with a little of 1 year since their debut.
-ITZY biggest hit is their debut song.
As usual feel free to add more, this are just the ones I’m 100% sure.
Theoretically, you could say this about any group until they release a song that's bigger than their previous biggest hit. But I get what the point of this thread is.

I think they arent that comparable given the drastic decline in downloads? To me, HIP looks like a bigger hit than Starry Night (though i prefer SN, it is their best song imo)
I think Home is the biggest SVT hit in SK, despite Aju Nice being having insane longevity.
It got them actual wins on music shows (Home gave them 10, including 2 triple crowns, while Aju Nice gave them none), it changed their game in SK.
It was even before their million seller title, which shows how good the song was performing that time.

AJU Nice is a cult hit bigger than Home, it has more Melon ULs and has recharted in the top 200 of Gaon digital every year since 2018.

Correct. Thus, it follows that *no* artists have surpassed their biggest hits.
For example, if we take the case of Twice. Their biggest hit is generally considered to be Cheer Up, and nothing they've released since then has been as iconic. Thus, they have not surpassed their biggest hit.
Then consider Aespa. Their biggest hit is their latest release, Next Level. They haven't released anything since then, so they have also not surpassed their biggest hit.
The "biggest hit" for a group is therefore a moving target.
