Is Twice the biggest GG in Japan right now?

NiziU are way bigger. They already achieved #1 on Oricron Album chart. They had 370,000 album sales that were just pre-orders for their debut album. People are biased thinking Twice just because they introduced KPOP Into the Japanese market.

If they're above Nogi46, then yes. Last year, nogi still topping the charts for GG. But no handshake events quite hurt their sales tho.

Can't say anything about Niziu, but they're just started and already doing great.

Biggest Kpop girl group for sure. NiziU could be challenging if they stay stable or grow more.

They are still the biggest Korean girl group in Japan (unless you consider NiziU Kpop then it's debatable).
There are many bigger girl groups in Japan however (as far as recognition, public visibility etc), all of them being Japanese girl groups.
Still the biggest Korean girl group by a pretty decent margin though.

I don't think so. You need to know twice lost many fans in korea and Japan. Several reasons but mostly they had too many scandals last year. You know those koreans Japanese are sensitive against scandals and the group being old.

Fortunately they still have international fans though.
